update!
oh no...its another long hiatus. i'm really sorry bout this as there's some problems going on at home. my father was hospitalised due to a sudden heart attack last sunday night (heck i dont even know its a heart attack!) was running to and fro from home to hospital and trying to juggle my time with work. wasn't an easy task =(
but right now everything is alright but dad was having problems adjusting to his current health issues. we are trying to work on it and not to mention.... SCHOOL IS STARTING FOR ME TOMORROW!!! =D
it's gonna be tough but i think i can handle it. and now all these explains my long hiatus...right? =)
baked brownies few weeks ago. as usual, my brownies are low in sugar and this time round i baked them slightly drier and cakier. they kindda suck when eaten alone as i hate brownies that are dry and caky. but my main purpose of baking them in this way is to serve them as sundaes! one huge scoop of ice creams goes very well with 2 cubes of brownies. smash them up and yummy! you get something much better than oreo mcflurry! =D
nieces came on sunday and we baked a milk loaf. i wasn't in the mood for something new and we were running out of bread. so i thought this would make a great bake to seal the week. kids got to knead the dough and they sure had enjoyed.
see? long kneading sure works for milk loaf! next time if i need to make bread i make sure the kids are around =D
baked chocolate chunk again for my cousin's 1 year old birthday bash. the cookie dough was made one night before so that the chocolate chunks are marinated longer, hence a darker shade of the butter dough. i find this way of making the dough is better as the chocolate taste is stronger and more aromatic. the cookies were packed into smaller cookie bags and the kids enjoyed them =)
as i am typing now, i am waiting for little doughs to proof and then baked... i wont be revealing what i am going to bake this time. but it sure is something i had been dying to try out for months and finally got my butt working! it's a bread item and its....something u dont get to see most of the time! so do come back for that mysterious yummy bread okay? till then, see ya! =D
