hi everyone! baker is back to post up another round of her CNY bakes : Sugee Cookies!
its my first time baking sugee cookies and i find that it is a tad hard. the process is definitely interesting as its my first time using ghee. hmm not bad, the taste is there but still need a tweak on the texture. still not really melt in mouth yet.

i find them really pretty! or was is the pink paper case doing the trick?
so thats my first sugee experience. hmm though i didnt manage to get the crackling effect really well and texture still has rooms for improvements, but ok la. will definitely make more of this so that it can be up for my next CNY bake sale item list =)
and after sugee cookies, next would be sunflowers again!
orders were quite xiong for this one hence i spent most of the midnights baking this. so tired! but it was quite an experience for me to bake at the wee hours alone. a bit creepy but aiya, its CNY anyway =)
on the other hand, after posting these pics i realise a need to change my oven. this oven has been following the family for almost 40 years and i could hear the sound of rebel. no doubt it still churns out beautiful and yummy cookies or other goodies but i find that its getting more and more slow. like normally i need bout 20 min to bake a tray of cookies but now it can go up to bout 35mins and above o_O
so before i go, does anyone have any good ovens (bout 28 litres) to recommend?
